Has anyone out there been to Hendre Mynach recently?.Just wondering about the state of the pitches/grass after all the rain.We are due to go next week but would like an impartial opinion.
Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
We were there during a VERY wet June. Luckily we had a hardstanding at the 'bottom' end of the site but the camping fields at the 'top end' were swamped - literally. Having said that, a day later they had drained and somebody had erected a tent!!!
Here are a few pics I took on site!

Hi Markis42, I know you asked for an impartial opinion, but it is not in our best interest to lie to you.
I am one of the wardens here, and yes when we had the deluge a few weeks ago the far non electric tent field was as in Kernows photos. We closed the field off to allow it to drain before folks pitched up (though some folks ignore this and pitch up anyway). All ok now. We do have plenty of other areas, if we get another deluge, so will always try our best to accommodate campers.
You did not mention whether you had booked, or whether you are a "non-bookable non-electric" camper???
