We are staying at Cofton holiday park in our Vango diablo 600 for a week at the end of August.
It is the first time we have ever stayed there and we are really looking forward to it.
For the people who have been to Cofton-i believe you get allocated a pitch on arrival, we are 2adults and 2 kids aged 10 and 6. we want a flat pitch near the toilets if possible but somewhere safe for the kids to be able to run about. which field could you receommend? any ideas? its hard when you've not been before or will the staff help us decide or give us a choice when we get there?
Many thanks, Lisa x

When I was there over the New Year weekend in 2009/10, I stayed by the games room on an EHU pitch, and the toilets, showers and play area were just a short walk away.
It may be noisier during peak times, however, I would request for the same pitch again as it was very handy.

Hi, just got back from Coftons, this is our 3rd visit and have always stayed to the left as you enter the site. Although this year we were allocated our pitch we asked if we could find an alternative as we traveled with 2 other families and our pitches were not together.
We eventually found a decent pitch on the left hand side again, although this side is nearer the road you don't notice it. Only suggestion would be not to stay on the first row behind the mens toilet/shower block (by the chip shop) or down by the fishing lake as the rain was running like a torrent and got very boggy afterwards.
We have a 2 and 6 year old and they absolutely loved it especially the new indoor pool/play area, mind you they charge £39 for 2 adults+2children for a weeks pass to the indoor pool. The new addition is fantastic.
Hi they dont allocate you a pitch they take you to where they want to fill the area ,you can ask the driver to take you around where you want to go we always go to tne left on entry ,there is a camping meadow in front of the chipshop and toilet block. We have mostly been lucky and park on the left behind the chip shop by the play area or on the terraces thhere When you turn in to cofton there is a gate on your leftbefore you drop down to reception that will give you a quick view of the area I'm talking about'its a lovely site we go there several times a year so enjoy it
