Hi,

Does anyone know of a site on a farm in North yorkshire or Northumberland?

One where you can go and pet or feed the animals, collect eggs etc?

I'm looking for a site closer to Leeds than Hollins farm in Silverdale as that is a 2.5hr tow.

Wolds Way, visited loads of times, excellent in the spring as you can feed the lambs.

Thanks Travel bug. Not much further than the 3 I've tried in Pickering, great playgrounds but getting a bit tired of the NYMR trains everytime and my 4 year old loves animals.

Brandy Whalfs a lovely chill out place but it does get very lively on a weekend but the setting and the chickens and rabbits are very nice. Have you looked at Esholt, its a short walk to St Lenords farm which is a lovely place for young kids. For a day visit I can highly reccomend Ponderosa farm in Hecmondwike fab for young kids.

Its a wonderful time when the`re young, treasure it. they soon grow up

I did st leonards farm in March, was lovely. Funnily enough I was also looking at Ponderosa for a weekend visit.

Maybe I just can't combine farms and a campsite.

What about either Studfold Farm or Humblebee Farm?
