Hi guys looking for a site in Cornwall pref near st Agnes which is too far from coast and has a decent park or play facilities for my 8y/o. The site pref will be not too expensive, I realise that this sounds a lot so will consider other areas in Cornwall just thought of st Agnes as I love st Ives and the wife loves Newquay.

Cheers guys
P.s they must accept caravans

Tollgate Farm at Perranporth is nice, has playpark and accepts caravans, good family site but not commercialised.

Newperran, in between Perranporth & Newquay is also a good one.  With adventure playground, playground & outdoor pool.  Big site though.

We love St Agnes.  Some nice basic cliff top sites in the St Agnes area but with no play parks!

There's an interesting site actually in Lizard village - not been for many years but plenty of reviews here.

Hi. I work at Beacon Cottage Farm campsite in St Agnes, well just above Chapel Porth beach to be precise. Anyway, we have a decent sized play area for children with swings, climbing frame, slide, balance beam thingy etc. Hope that helps

We have just returned from tollgate farm and loved it. Perfect for kids, great play area and also a animal area, can highly recommend it.

Just come back from 4 nights at mullion.A bit hesitant as the reviews were not so good.It is 3 miles from the Lizard. We actually had a great time, met some good people and the campsite was fine. The facilities such as the pool and clubhouse have seen better days but the local area is spectacular.I live in St Austell and the Lizard is about 1 hour and 30 mins from our house. It would take about an hours drive from perranporth or newquay. At the Parkdean site at mullion it's got a park,2 pools indoor and outdoor and eveing entertainment. The pitches are a good size and we found the toilet and shower block clean,it did get grubby late at night as the cleaner worked from 8 in the morning until 6 pm.We aslo had fab hot weather which obviously helps. There is another site called Chy Carne down at kennack sands it is by the beach but has no clubhouse or pools etc... this is just 2 or 3 miles from the Lizard too.
