Could anyone recommend some ideal autumn campsites/activties? We're new to camping and don't really know where to start.

Thanks Keifcg. We're based in Cheshire. Just returned from an enjoyable few days at 'tan y bryn' site in llandudno. We've got the bug now, haha. Would love to camp during the autumn, preferably a forest/woodland camp, near water :)

I like the sound of that myself, will watch with interest for some replies. I very often look at recommendations from other people and if I like the sound of it I add it to my virtual brochure for future reference

cotswold hoburne near cirencester or bashley park in the new forest are great for wet season holidays.indoor pool for the kids and play area,lovely places to visit if you are lucky with the weather.
