Situated right by the Lancaster canal, not far from Garstang, spacious hard standing pitches separated by grass areas and/or shrubs, dogs accepted although there is no designated dog walk but the canal towpath is just down the lane, and very quiet. The last review says the toilets were dirty but tbh I take that with a pinch of salt as they've always been absolutely spotless whenever I've been.

If it wasn't for the fact that you require hardstanding I would have suggested the CS site that I virtually live on, pretty large areas for your pitch, pretty quiet, definately dog friendly, ( I have a rotty). site is in Norfolk set back of the main road between Norwich and Aylsham, Handy for city or coast and not to far from the broads. here you go, http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/details.asp?revid=12637
------------- here today , where tomorrow?
yet another full timer,
Thanks for the replies, North Wales is not too far away been camping there a fair bit,Tigermouse the one in Garstang looks great for weekends but a bit on the expensive side allowing for awnings and 2 dogs, will keep looking, thanks once again.
Botvyle Farm CS near Church Stretton in Shropshire is lovely, has ehu, loos and showers and was £12.50 per night last year I think. I can't remember if it has hardstandings if this is important.
