Hey, we have a tent and would like to go camping for the odd night here and there with the kiddies, is there anywhere in the south (brighton - weymouth and anywhere in between!) that allows 1 nights stay only?

More and more sites seem to be having a minimum number of nights - we take 1 night bookings, even on bank holidays - because we found that someone may want say friday nights / someone else saturday and often someone else Sunday, so we scrapped the minimum of 3 nights last year and have found it works well for us. All sites are different and it may not for whatever reason be possible at some, but we dont have a problem with it, although i dont think we are quite in the right part of the country for you this time.
Happy camping/caravanning everyone !

The New Forest used to be a favourite weekend spot for us. Then Forest Holidays introduced a minimum 3 night rule for bookings and it meant taking a day off work or turning up on the offchance on a Friday night.
After trying several non-FH sites in the area and not really finding one that suited us, we gave up going. That's how we discovered Graffham - we were looking for an alternative to Hollands Wood.
We did a 1 night stop off at Shrubbery near Lyme Regis a couple of weeks ago as a stop over on the way to Cornwall. Really liked the site. Will be writing a review when I get a few minutes.
