Hi, I am new to camping and searching for a good campsite that is toddler friendly with indoor and outdoor pools, entertainment, park, shop and restaurant on site etc......Either in Devon,ISle of Wight,or the south coast.....Any advice would be great!
aLso any suggestions for keeping warm at night? We are a bit concerned that our little one will get a bit chilly in athe evenings, any good sleeping bags out there for kids or help?
Many thanks
Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
Haven sites might be your best bet, but not cheap in season. Our 4 toddlers have all loved Haven over the years.
We leave heaters on through the night and use normal duvets and an extra blanket on top, I'm sure some people wouldn't advise leaving heaters on but we feel safe enough. Our halogen one cuts out if it's lifted or falls over and we're thinking of replacing the blow heater with an oil filled electric radiator. Some people use electric underblankets too.
------------- Wish we'd discovered camping years ago!
We used to have 2 sleeping bags which zipped together and our little one slept in the middle of us. This covered keeping her warm and also kept me happy that she was safe
------------- Visit Llandrindod Wells! Great scenery, walks, cycling, red kites. Ideal for exploring Mid Wales.
