Browsing through the reviews of 'Adult only' sites, have come across an endless amoutn of review that mention reviewers kids/children.Not sure why site owners nominate as adults only - sites are not adult only if they allow screaming kids everywhere! And it's no good saying there are allocated areas for kids - they tend to wander round and get everywhere.

Does anybody know of any true adult only sites? Arrived recently at a site that claimed ot be adult only and had to endure the noise of four kids running around the site all weekend.

Come on Uk campsite - get your labels right or what;s the use of having categories?

Have you thought that maybe these particular sites once used to accommodate families and has now recently changed it's policy to an adults only site. If so then the past reviews are obviously going to contain details about children. If your not sure then contact the site and find out because it's unfair criticism if the this is the case.

If it's that important to you surely the easiest thing is to call a site and check or email them?

We've stayed on absolutely loads of Adult Only sites over the past 7 years of touring and not one has had a child on it.

Best one in the country in my opinion is Old Oaks, Glastonbury - the loudest thing on site is the birdsong.

Moat barn ,bredfield in Suffolk ,flat ,well kept and very friendly and child free... But then again we are always somebody's child!!!

Greendale Farm is definetly Adults Only....only a small site,but very well kept...

If it says Adults Only...it should be just that...

Greendaale Farm, Wayfarers, Back of Beyond,  Old Oaks, all adult only and not a child in sight. Never seen any children on any of the Adult only sights we stay on. Can't call themselves Adult only and let kids on.

Maybe they were the owners children and lived there? I know of a very nice adult only CL site in Norfolk, but during school holidays and in the evenings, the owner's children are present, and can be seen and heard playing around in the grounds to their home

Chippendales Parks C&CC certificated site, Marton Moss, Blackpool. Adults only and has everything on site including a laundry room with washer/dryer, fridge freezer, microwave, grassy areas with picnic benches and all with electric hook up too for £15 per night. Definitely no kids here even though it is Blackpool.

Bit harsh!!!...


"The site owners have advised that this is an adults only site, or there is an adult only area."


You can hardly blame UKCS if the camp site owners (deliberately, or otherwise) forward inaccurate information.
As others have said, it's always wise to check out the T&C's on the camp sites own web-site, or better still, converse with someone in authority at the respective camp site, and air any concerns/requests/queries etc. before you set off/book.
