We have never actually stayed at this site but have walked through it many times and always say that we will come and stay there one day. It is superbly positioned with it's own beach plus the adjacent beach of Harlyn Bay - in our opinions one of the best in Cornwall. It is also situated very close to the beaches of Constantine and Booby's Bay and the South West Coastal Path passes in front of the site before winding up around Trevose Head.
The site is well laid out with good pitches for tourers and camping although the static caravans are pitched at the front of the site with the best views.
The site is a traditonal camp site with no Clubhouse etc. It is situated a few miles from Padstow and the Camel Estuary to our minds the best part of Cornwall.
We used to stay at the site next door, nowadays called Harlyn Sands when our boys were small but when we walked through that also a couple of months ago it looked very crowded.
We will get to Mother Ivey's Bay one day
------------- Mother Nature always wins in the end.
