Rowntree park bookings will cause the CC website to meltdown when bookings become available in 2013. I heard the time trials will be held in York ?? Luckily it's only 15 mins from me
It is true that the Tour de France is starting in Yorkshire next year, however, I doubt the clim to Gods own County, the last time we sent missionaries over the hill from the true gods own county the natives were not friendly towards them and it is reputed that they were boiled alive. Since that time the government in its wisdom have built the only good thing to come out of Yorkshire that being the road into Lancashire.

For a licence dated 1997 or later you must add together the plated max weight of the caravan and trailer, if the total is 3500 or less you can tow it. You may even tow a caravan with a MAM greater than the cars unladen mass the restriction was removed in 2013
Those 'missionaries' were boiled alive because they spoke falsehoods and spread malicious evil.
And the road from "Gods County" to the 'The other place' was impassable for years because it was cobbled on t'other side.
(We know we don't mean it but keep up the pretence)

Cobbled it may have been but it was then and still is the best thing that comes out of Yorkshire

There are rumours that one of the stages will finish in Sheffield coming in via the Snake Pass so this opens up some of the Northern parts of the Peak District as somewhere to stay.....
The route is announced on 17th January
Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
