Can anybody recommend a good site to stay with a ten yr old. Looking for site with good size pitches . As I have a kampa 8 man (studland classic) thanks
Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
A bit more info may be helpful:
What area?
What do you like to do - walking? Fishing? Cycling? Climbing?
Quiet site or all action?
My son really enjoyed Sleningford Watermill near Ripon.
Good sized pitches with or without EHU, direct river access on site for paddling or canoeing, close to Lightwater Valley theme park, good walking and cycling area....
What sort of area do you have in mind? And what does your ten year old enjoy doing?
Noah's ark, just outside Perth, had a play park next to it with lots for kids to do (think it has go karting and things like that).
Or if the child is into the outdoors, how about something like Red Squirrel in Glen Coe.
Or are you looking for something a bit closer to home?
Cornwall has everything for all ages.
This is where we always took our boys. And changed sites to suit as they got older.
If not i went to Keswick one year on the side of the lake it was lovely .
( we did have good weather ) but so nice for children with the lake shallow for paddling in. Walks and cycling .
If not any where near a beach children love beaches.
