Stayed on Skye site a year ago last September and found the folks running it great and their loo/facilities block is brilliant. They've also got a tenter's kitchen if the weather is foul and - because serious winds were due, gave me a choice of location - took the sheltered option. Not stayed at the Kinloch so can't help there.but might be a bit more sheltered. Don't know which route you're taking to Skye but the C&CC site is around an hour from the Skye Bridge plus around 15 minutes to Dunvegan. If you're wanting to tour, I'd say C&CC site Don't forget to go on one of the sea eagle trips but if you keep your eyes peeled, you may well see one over that site - I did plus two just back up the road towards Portree..
