Nice easy drive up, lots of very slow traffic heading towards Cornwall though. Guess we picked the right direction

Lovely warm welcome as ever from Katie & george, then set up on the pitch.

Site is looking lovely, very busy as you'd expect for a sunny bank holiday. First time I think I've almost had to queue for a shower, but that's my own fault for having a lie-in lol.

Ground is lovely & firm in the sports field without being hard.

Loads of kids around on their bikes so you just need 360' vision whilst on the site.

Shame the weather isn't going to hold, but that's Wales for you

Bailey is now disappointed he's not there to rekindle his romance with Bella!!

i'm here too.... weather has been fab, and forecast is much better than it was

hope it will stay good for a bit more time on the water.

Well, we are just about packed. First time this season so had to find all the stuff scattered around the house; garage, loft, you-name-it. Hoping the weather holds as I am taking some first-time campers and don't want them to be put off!!

Having said that, there is a reason why I chose Fforest Fields to take them on their first camp; regardless of the weather it's the best site I have been to.

But nice weather would help!!!

Well you can be sure it won't be the toilet block that puts them off. 2nd season in use now and it's looking just as good as last year. The wood has mellowed a little but its all the better for it.

I can't think of many sites with a better block.
