Have got a bit bored and fed up now. 17

I'm searching for a small 5 unit 'CS' (Camping and Caravanning Club) or 5 unit 'CL' (Caravan Club) in the Chichester area, but on the West Wittering / Selsey Bill / Pagham Harbour Peninsular as we are doing some Coastal walks nearby. Can anyone suggest a CS or CL please ?

17 Must have at least toilet facilities 17

How about 139 Easton Lane, not far from the Witterings and Selsey Bill. It's a CL. Have not tried it myself but it has a good review on CC website.

17  G.Winger will look that one up too.

Never thought of the Selsey Bill area as a touristy spot before, it just follows on from our coastal walks we're doing, so we'll be looking forward to discovering the area. Nice to hear from others who have already explored areas you don't hear much about.

one of the things i really liked about the selsey area is "free parking" all the carparks we entered ,even at the coast were free, with the exception of the national trust carpark at west wittering, unless you have a dissabled badge , then its a pound all day, otherwise about a fiver, but the beach is stunning , and the carpark has all the facillities.

selsey coast car park has a small shellfish kiosk, thats very popular

Sounds even better with free parking, (what's 'free' parking ? remind me 17)

Last year we walked the 60 mile 'Solent Way' starting from Milford on Sea and finishing at Emsworth, walking alongside the Isle of Wight, through Lymington, the New Forest, Hamble, Lee-on-Solent, Gosport, Portsmouth Hayling Island and an added extra Thorney Island. They were mostly places we would never thought of as holiday destinations, but well worth visiting. (Historic Dockyards, Forts, Beaches, Sailing boats, Tankers and large cross Channel Ferryboats.)

17 The parking was £10 all day at Portsmouth.

17  Will do Cows573,

We'll make a note of Low Glengyre Farm for when we get up there, we do like our Farm CL sites, we're down South and walking as fast as we can. We've ambled along the 630 mile South West Coast Path starting from Minehead in Somerset and ending at Poole in Dorset then just carried on walking till Emsworth in Hampshire.

The thought of free parking might spur us on a bit quicker in our old age.  17 17

What isn't fee parking in our area !!  If you like coastal walks, SW Scotland can offer.  The first stretch of the Southern Upland Way follows the coast as well as a coastal walk up towards Ayrshire.

Stay with us....

Low Glengyre Farm CL, near Stranraer

Cows573, please can you tell me if your site is ok for a large (nearly 8m long)t win axle caravan and whether Sky satellite tv reception is ok?

thanks, Anne
