Hi, I see you go to the Ranch often. Never been but looking for sites locally to take grandson when we have him overnights. Is there walking direct from site? What else do you like about it? I' know what there is to do and see locally so dont need that kind of info. Many thanks
Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
The main thing we like about is just how handy it is for us. I can get the van down there when I get up after nightshift on a Friday, and my wife can come straight there after her work, she works in Ayr.
The only walking direct from the site is along the Maybole to Culzean road, we tend to just pop the dog in the car and head to Maidens beach.
The pool might be an attraction for you and your grandson, it opens at the Easter holidays and closes after the October ones.
The toilets are normally very clean, and the owner is very friendly. Pitches are of a good size and there are really nice views over the countryside.
We go down tomorrow and are taking a run down to have a nosey at Barrhill Caravan Park to see if we can alternate between the two.
------------- XVI yes?
As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
Thanks. Might give it a try - if there were walks I could be more tempted though as we would prefer not to be driving if only there for 2 nights. Then again, it's just down the road from me...........................
