Belper CC site, Derbyshire, about a miles walk into town, or is that too far?
Warwick Racecourse CC site, on the boundries of the town centre and across the road from Warwick castle, and you get to watch the horse racing for free on Racedays from the sites trackside
Uttoxeter Racecourse CC site, a short walk of a about 15mins up into the town centre, with A Tesco supermarket nearby.

Sytche near Much Wenlock is lovely, you can walk into Hanley Swan from the Blackmore site (more a village than a town, mind you) there is a site in Evesham near the town centre but I can't remember what it's called (unhelpful), errrmmmmmm.....do you mean somewhere with a shop or do you mean a heaving metropolis?

Blenheim Farm near Bulwell in Nottingham
Its behins some industrial site but lovely toilets and showers, can walk into Bulwell, Morrisons, KFC,McDonalds, Chip shops and get a tram into Nottingham to explore the finer things my town has to offer
