Hi all

After debating about going to St. Ives in August, and finding a site that then started ignoring my emails and had no pitches left, we have opted for our favourite, Trevornick :)

Anyone else going this August? Only been in June and Sept before so both times just missed the main season. Not camped there since 2009 when we stayed in the Corn Field. Those pitches are now hardstanding as we discovered when we stayed in a Eurotent last year.

We will be staying in Yellow Field, pitch 131. Anyone stayed in this field before?x

Can't wait! What's it like in full season on site? Hope we get nice weather :)

we are going to Polmanter in st ives.....just hoping for better weather.....go most Augusts and its always been hit and miss with the weather....chucking it down one day then red hot next....

We've always been to Penderleath, just a bit further along the road from Polmanter. Looking like this year will be the first year we don't get a holiday there at all since 1999 :-(

Our favorite is Perran Springs, they have eurotents there, although we take our own tent.

We've been to Trevornick three times and loved it, but sadly it has now become far too expensive, a site that wants to charge £5.90 per night for a dog won't be getting my business I'm afraid 17

We went in August last year for one week and thoroughly enjoyed. The weather was good and lots going on. Would definitely go back...enjoy!
