Thanks for all your replies. The south is way too far, as is cornwall and scotland. we are looking at maybe Wirrall or Wales or north east. I live near and work in Harrogate and could not get home 2 mornings last week due to snow then cut off by drifts trying to get home Sunday however it does seem to be thawing slowly, this is the 3rd time we have tried to get away so far this year and am determined we are going somewhere, J x
As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
thanks all, we have booked wirral country park, not been before, am sure its going to be bitterly cold but van will be warm and no walking to loo or shower first or last thing, J x

just returned today from castleton cc site in the peak district the roads in and out of the hope valley all clear, had two weeks walking first week all low level walks very very boggy, much better walking second week after snow and frosts, plus a warm welcome and roaring log fire in most pubs.
We had no snow in Ardnamurchan last week but by the time we got to Glencoe the snow was thick and we were driving through a blizzard. Think it's snowed every day here in Glasgow but hoping it stays away by tomorrow as we're heading off for Easter.
