I'd give them a ring and ask. We are in Gloucester 20 miles away and havent had any snow settle although I do know the forest can be a very different story.

If its Whitemead in wool, Dorset then you are on a roads except the short road that the site is actually on which is quite and plenty of room for towing.
Weve been 3 times and enjoy the site however sometimes you can hear noise from the military base next door, but dont let that put you off has it has 2 nice pubs in walking distance, a meandering river to walk along and central to all attractions in this area.
In that case no problem.
If coming from the Bristol direction take the OLD Severn Bridge (M48) and come off at the first junction after the bridge.
Follow the signs for Chepstow and at the roundabout at the top turn right and follow the A48 east, past Chepstow then into Lydney town.
Turn left up the B4234 just after the level crossing in Lydney town, and carry on north to Parkend.
In Parkend ignore the narrow road on the left by the station, but carry on past the shop to the junction by The Cricketers, turn left, and just after the road bends right the entrance to Whitemead is on the left.
The Cricketers used to do good food but haven't been for a while.
The Fountain, by the station, does good food and an excellent pint of Freeminers.
