Hi all
I live in Chester and need some help with campsites, we are looking to go camping on the first bank holiday in May can you please recommend campsites with plenty to do for the boys within 1.5 hours drive from home.
Thanks
Paul
Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
I have two boys eight and nine and find the sites that keep them entertained are the ones with the least on to be honest. When you start adding amusements entertainment etc they seem to become bored quickly. As long as there's a ball field to play or a river to paddle in they're usually happy. A lovely site is knight Stainforth in Settle but may be slightly longer to get to.. Having said that flamingo land would also be good to keep them entertained and if the daily mail offer is on this year it could be very reasonable too.
Fisicoll thanks for the reply, sorry I should have been more specific I am not looking for a site with amusement parks I am looking for play area, swimming pool, beach, lakes, football area etc etc and the park does not have to have everything just enough to keep them occupied and wear them out.

I have an available 13 year old boy, who would keep you on your feet for hours and hours and hours and hours and hours :) you get the idea!!!!!!!
