Hi All,

Can anyone recommend an overnight caravan site/stop enroute to York from

Newport,South Wales.

Somewhere around end of M42/A1 junction with reasonable  easy access on and off

 motorway.

I have looked at Tamworth and Trowell Services but reviews are not good.

Blenheim Farm Caravan Park, Bulwell, Nottm

It's just 1.5 miles from Junc 26 of M1. I've never stayed there but it is reviewed on here.

You don't want to stay at services! Do you need facilities or are you happy to use your loo and shower? There is a nice CL near Kingsbury whose name escapes me but can look it up, easy access and cheap.

Could be New House Farm Hurley  CL Site  - close to Kingsbury.  I personally know the owners Jenny & David and as very good reviews.

That's the one, we stayed there when we went to the caravan show at the NEC.

A nice quiet site about two miles off the M42 is the Caravan Club's Chapel Lane site near Birmingham, we stayed there last year for a few nights and lots of people seemed to use it as a stopover.
