Hi I am thinking of buying a static on site at or near Mablethorpe with site fees no more than £2000 a year we don't need bells and whistles but not to far from the sea we have never owned one before so not sure if we would take to it any ideas of sites.

Main issue I think your going to have, is if you don't like it, it's a lot of money to loose.

Yeh we realise that so we don't want to spend to much and we have 2 daughters and 7 grand's so it wont be a complete waste of money and we have hired vans quite often. We are also looking at the Bridlington area but they all seem expensive.

There's a lovely Camping and Caravan Club site at Mablethorpe but don't know how much it is. If you know the place, when you come to outskirts of town you turn right just past the garage, go past the church and its on the bend at the end of the road.

The OP is looking for a Static, as far as I know, the C&CC don't have statics for sale on their sites.

Back from Mablethorpe had a good look around went to Ingoldmells to see a couple of vans but not suitable but in that area I have never seen as many statics as there is round there and I come from Hull where most statics are built. We are now going to look at Bridlington.
I am going to look at Southclift does anyone know of any more sites with statics for sale I want to pay around £10000 all in 35ft by 12ft on a site with reasonably fees we don't need swimming pool or any sort of raz just within walking distance of the sea and town its self.

Why not buy a decent tourer and and find a site with a season pitch.

If you don't like the site you can always move the caravan.

There are firms that offer to tow your caravan to site for a fee.

No need to change cars etc.
