Hi all

My name is paul i live in the wirral

We have bought our first motorhome for me and my wife and 3 year old daughter

we will be picking the motorhome up next week

can anyone recomend and good camp sites that they could recomend for our first time, we dont want to go too far for the first trip out

A lot of people on here speak highly of Fron Farm I've got it on my 'to visit' list. But there are plenty if you use the search facility and then read the really helpful reviews.

Hi Paul, If you want a short break to sort out how things work with your new motorhome the Caravan club has got sites both on the Wirral and in Chester, I know that they are close to home but when we first had our caravan we went to a  site just a couple of miles from home, we got advise from other caravanners and it gave us confidence to go alot further afield, there are sure to be helpful motorhome owners on these mentioned sites, I hope that you find a suitable site and have many happy years with your motorhome, welcome to this UKCS message board by the way!

What about the Plassey in Wrexham about 20mins outside of Chester. They have some great hard standing pitches particularly in the deluxe area which would be ideal for a motorhome.

Hi Paul for a first trip out why not try the caravan clubs wirral country park site, its got everything great views of Wales across the river Dee, Wirral way for walking or cycling beach walks and close to home. Very Close click on link below picture

Thanks for all your replys , i have just booked Ty Mawr Holiday Park in North Wales.

its only 36 miles away 3 nights looking farward to it :-)
