Hi, we are attempting our 1sttrip with our little Elddis early May and were thinking of Anglesey.
Any suggestions for a site with easy access as its our 1st towing attempt!
We are mid 50s with a little puppy so don't need a "Massive all action site" ,but would like to walk to a little pub and beach etc
Thanks

Hi, Don,t know if you are amember of the caravan club or not, but we stayed at cae mawr, nr Benllech on their site however it is a non facilites site so own toilets and washroom required, there is a pub at the end of the site road, and about 15 min walk to the beach, or 5 min drive.
We where their in september and found that apart from about 6 beaches on the Island all the rest where dog friendly.
------------- Why have kids when you can have a dog?
I can't remember what the access was like so probably not a problem. But Bagnol is nice, just a short walk to Treaddurr bay and we ate at the Harbourmaster pub a short stroll along front and it was excellent.

You could try Nant Bychan in Moelfre. Its right on the sea shore, excellent sea views, it's got a dog exercise field. its on the Coastal path for longer walks, and is a short walk from Moelfre for pub/food.
Access is good - mostly. Main road all the way, apart from the last 400m up the single farm track, but the good bit is once parked on the farmyard, the owner will pitch your caravan for you with his landrover, so ideal for novices.
