We are thinking about going to Golden Cap this summer. Previous reviews have said its no dogs at all although some state it's an old sign. Can anyone confirm if you can take dogs on or not.

Hi if it is the campsite that is actually at seatown just be aware that it is a very narrow road down to the campsite, I walked this lane last year and it is only wide enough for one car, there are very narrow passing places although spaced out a bit and also the lane is a bit of a steep climb both ways but especially returning to bridport, great pub in seatown though, mind you it is the only thing apart from the beach and sea, lovely part of dorset and plenty of walks etc

Hi, thanks for the information. I should have made myself a little clearer. It was the beach I was talking about for the dog. I have looked at google maps and see it's very narrow although this has never put us off before.

its not a private beach but I dont know about dogs being allowed on the beach

Dogs aren't allowed on the beach anytime.

Eype ,just over the hill toward West bay dogs are allowed anytime.
