we are currently planning our first trip of the year but dont know where to go ??? we are torn between thornwhick holiday park at flambough or some where in wales but not sure where in wales as we have never been we are in our thirtys with 2 kids so a park is a must and beach near by. there doesnt even have to have a pub on site or near by as we not big drinkers anyone any ideas where to go in wales

Have a look at Glanllyn (think I've spelt it right?) in Bala. Not the cheapest but lovely site on the shore of Bala Lake with a beach right off the site, waterpark next door, playground for the children & within easy reach of lots of nice places. There's also a railway not far away where they have steam trains done out to look like Thomas & Friends.
My Boy now 12 loves Shell Island, quite basic but camp fires on the beach at night to crabbing during the day sand dunes and rock pools and always a good vibe
