I have the whole summer of, so I intend to camp for a lot of it. I have decided on 4 places so far but would quite like another one or two places.

In Scotland, not bothered where but I've decided on Loch Lomond, the Loch Tay area and Skye so far. Not the Aviemore area as I have somewhere to stay if I go there, nor the North East because I live there but anywhere else.
Don't need anything fancy but toilets, showers and dogs allowed.

Any recommendations?

Thanks.

Glenbrittle on Skye is fab if you don't mind basic. Right at the foot of the Cuillins next to the beach.

I have stayed there numerous times, its lovely.

Luss campsite looks lovely but i've already ruled it out as it's on the wrong side of Loch Lomond and I'm trying to decide between the other two.

That looks awesome, not too expensive either. I have put it on my short list. Need to see whats is in the area as I've never been there before.

Immervoulin at Strathyre.

Loads of brilliant walks in the area, direct from site if you wish, and dog friendly. Village pub 10 minutes walk.

Lucky you getting to camp over the whole of the summer! I don't know if this site will be a bit too far for you to travel but we stayed at Loch Ken near Dumfries. It was a lovely site. If you are not fussed for EHU, you can pitch right down by the loch.

We stayed at Cruachan Farm last August it is 3 miles from the village of Killin which has a co-op etc in Perthshire on Loch Tay I think, weather was great only one heavy shower on one evening and the site seemed to cope well with this. They have a small shop which I think will take orders for you. The toilets were spotless and quite a few nice walks. On the tarrif prices for a caravan is £17 and EHU is £3 and the views are lovely too. They also have a small play park for children and they are dog friendly.

If you are on the Glenshee road heading to Skye then I think you'd be a bit lost. I think you probably mean the Glen Shiel road?

I've looked at that, looks nice. Can't really decide where else. I have a list so then I can plan on an area but can change due to the weather if it's nicer else where.

I'm thinking you mean the glen shiel road? I don't need any campsites out that way because skye is an easy 5-6 hour drive, I know the road very well. :)
