Hi, I'm looking at going to Padstow / Looe / Mevagissey / St Austell for a week in July and can't make my mind up where to go!!  I've seen lots of lovely sites.  Has anybody been to these and have any preferences or recommendations?  We have an 8 year old and a toddler so something to keep them amused would be good (although I'm not really bothered about camp clubs!).

Not sure if this site is too quiet for you but have a look at the reviews/website.

River Valley, London Apprentice 

The site is on the road from St Austell to Mevagissey.  Family owned and very clean and well kept.  Has indoor pool & small play area.  Adjacent to a river/woodland trail that leads 2 miles to Pentewan beach (nice, safe cycle route).

Try The Laurels at  wadebridge.  very friendly, clean and level, easy access. Play park for the children. Not to big and bus service outside the gate. Good pubs nearby especially The Falcon, excellent value meals.

Pentewan sands near mevagissey has loads for everyone on the site and is by the sea. Great place:)

we've been to St Austell for last 2 years and stayed at Tregarton Park nr Mevagissey read the reviews of this fantastic site i'm sure you'll like it if you go.
there's a playground, tennis court and a heated swimming pool,they do good food the pitches are large and site well looked after,

we're going back at end of july

When we asked a similar question earlier this year we were pointed in the direction of Seaview International.. we've booked there for our mini-moon end of June :)

you've also got little winnick on the pentewan road,or the meadows,theres several around padstow with treyarnon bay a good site,looe the sites are all outside but several decent ones on the road to millandreath,and the other way to polperro....st Austell is the best location cos you've got a lot of choice all around you....Fowey,polruan,meva,gorrans,the roseland....
