Hi back again. 1 man 1 dog.
We were put into the meadows. The EHU was 16 amps. The site was filling up when we arrived. Only had a few choices of pitches. Wanted to be by a hedge. These seem to be non EHU. except by the road.
What is it with people. A couple arrived much later than us. Put their Gobi 4 up. Only had about 2 guy lines pegged. Expecting the tent to stay up right. when the winds decided to hit. 1 pole bent so much that it split. the whole tent went on it's side. I came out with the duck tape for them to do a quickie repair. Helped them to peg out.
They didn't even have any pegs in the pin and ring.. Or any where on the tent. They asked me if the tent is rubbish. They said it was only their tent having problems, everyone elses wasn't moving.
I told them they should have had all the lines pegged and other places. I was very helpful, taking into consideration; I had to tell them at 3o'clock in the morning, "did they realise that their voices travel and I could hear every word". They apologised. Started talking in lower voices. An hour later, I told them to "shut up". I was not so polite.
The weather was fab though Saturday and Sunday. The only thing was: I seemed to be in the middle of a rave. And some said come on Campers. as they were dancing.
It certainly is, a hit and miss, the type of people turn up to be neighbours. The other field seemed to be quieter. hahahahaha the reverse to your experience 1 man and 1 dog.. There again it was a bank holiday, I never camp over the bank hols. Ooops
