We have booked to stay at Holmsley, when printing out the confirmation I noticed that it didn't say anywhere on there that I had said we are taking 2 cars and 2 dogs. I phoned them yesterday and queried this. They said its fine the dogs are free anyway, but is an extra £20 for the car. Now I know this is not much but, its just the principle of the matter. No where on the booking form(online) is there anywhere, other than where I stated in the additional equipment box, is there anywhere to say that you are taking extra cars, dogs etc. There is an update button after these boxes which I pressed, but the price didn't change so I assumed the price was the same.
Is it worth the hassle of complaining?
Hi we stayed here 2yrs ago we did have two cars we dropped off our camping gear and parked the car outside the site, which was fine. There is a small carpark on the entrance to the rd you go down to the park, but everyone else was parked on the sides of the rd down to the site. Hope this helps.
Hi Sar02, Thanks, Yes we were thinking about parking in that little car park, as we only need to unload the camping bits then will only need to use the one car whilst we are there. I know £20 is not a lot, but it just annoyed me that I added it into the additional equipment box and then updated and the price stayed the same. If you're going to book online then it should give you the option to put everything on there and update the price accordingly.
