I wouldn't worry to much about the wording it is specifically aimed at stag and hen weekends and other types of single sex groups, I doubt very much if it is aimed at the gay community. To be honest I have stayed at park foot a few times camping and although it is quite a nice site they let all sorts in at the weekend and make a fortune at the bar with live entertainment so they are not that fussy when it comes to large groups. I would avoid this site at the weekend at lot of noise of folk coming back from the bar.

I do not think the OP should ring them and ask, there is absolutely no need to question if a same-sex couple is allowed, because the first bit is nobody's business - and so only the 'couple' part is applicable.

It seems to me that the site doesn't accept groups of friends. As someone has already said, they could word it a bit better, though!
