Can anyone recommend a small campsite in the Hampshire, West/East Sussex areas for a weekend. I have two young children but would like to camp at a small campsite (tents only)...any recommendations please??

Cuckoos rest near polegate/hailsham in east sussex. Fab little site a small play area and a great games room. No electric hook up. The owner is lovely. The camp shop works on an honesty box. Our kids loved it. we only live 3 miles away and we think it is fab. Showers are clean, free hot water and lots of it. It is surrounded by fields.And is only 10 mins into eastbourne.

Both in a great location with lots of walks in the area.

We love Evergreen Farm in East Grinstead... 2 (very clean) compost toilets and that's it... all pitches are little woodland clearings... they have a quad bike a trailer to take all your stuff from your car to your pitch (and even take you and the kids in the trailer if there's room)

All pitches have firepits and they bring fresh water and firewood to your pitch daily

No play area, but some lovely walks, views and right next door to a National Trust house.
