We are going camping at the Black Bull campsite near Pickering and was wandering if there are any busses into Thornton-le-dale and if there were how much are ticket prices. Also how much is the bus fare into Pickering.

If you're reasonably fit,you'll be able to walk into pickering,flat walk,approx 25 mins. You'll get a bus from there to TLD no problem. It'll be £2 each at the most.

There is something called the Moors Bus, not sure of it's exact route but pretty sure it goes into Thornton le Dale, one of my favourite places - try googling it.

Pickering to Thornton only takes me 5 mins at a brisk walk.Buses are cheap but they can break down!
