Hello,
I would like to go away tomorrow with my son for 4 nights, returning on Friday 19th July. I would like to rent a mobile home/static caravan on a site that has a swimming pool and is also near the coast (ideally Dorset or Devon. I have found availability at Woolacombe Bay, Twitchen House and Golden Coast but would be grateful to hear of any other alternatives.

Hook Farm, Uplyme, Lyme Regis has some nice statics. Tarrifs are on their website but you'd need to contact them for details. Right on the Devon/Dorset border.

Hello and thank you for the reply. I have bagged a last minute deal at Golden Sands Holiday Park in Woolacombe. It's not normally the sort of site I would go for but it was a bargain and will suit my son and I down to the ground.I hope this lovely weather continues.

Well I am back from a fabulous few days in Woolacombe. I absolutely love the area, the beach is fantastic and it was very quiet there. The glorious weather ensured we had a wonderful time. I also liked Putsborough and Saunton. I will certainly return to the area. We stayed in Golden Coast which was fine, although the mobile homes were very crammed in so it was noisy at times. But as a base it was ok and its proximity to the beach was a bonus.
