Have a look at Cae Du in Beddgelert at the heart of Snowdonia.

You can find the information about the site using the camp site search button at the top of the page.

It is a lovely site - has nice shower/toilet block, you can camp next to river which is lovely and clean ( I used to swim in it with my children ).

Short walk into Beddgelert village itself.

Or you could choose Beddgelert Forest, this is run by Forest Holidays and it to is lovely and a short walk from Beddgelert.

You are within easy reach of Caernarfon, Porthamdog, Llanberis and Anglesey for days out.

How about Anglesey, have stayed at quite a few over the years in August and many are fairly quiet as are the splendid beaches. Nowhere on the island is too far away as is Snowdonia.

Good site we have stayed at are Darfan rhos, Point Lynas, Ty Newydd, White Lodge and Bodfan Farm. But our favourtite has to be Kingsbridge if you can get a spot in The Meadow where the pitches are seperated off by hedges and it feels like you are on your own. the facilities there are first class.
