i feel like i have been googling & googling campsites to take my folding camper on its first proper 2 week holiday, i fancy Abersoch area-ish. i have 2 kids age 10 + 14 so need walkable beach & play area for night (to hang out) ehu + decent loo/shower, oh a shop that kids can walk to un supervissed!-not much to ask for. pls pls recomend where you have been.......Ty newydd is popular-but noffink for kids to do other than beach!has any one been to : beach view Abersoch? Abererch Sands hol park? Aberafon? OH PLEASE HELP ME

If you go to www.abersoch.co.uk there are lots of listings for camp sites. Most of them, I think, are of a good standard.

There are some large popular 'family' sites near Abersock. Personally I avoid them like the plague, but might suit your family (we are all different).

It's a shame your kids need more than a beach (mine are younger, so that's all they need) and EHU because IMO two of the best campsites in Wales are not too far from Abersoch, but I don't think they will be right for you. I would consider going a bit further south of the Llyn peninsula, more sites down there that tick your boxes. You could try Shell Island *shudder* but many people love it.
