I and the family have just spent 2 days in the folding camper at high burn house in Wooler Northumberland. This was our fourth visit to the place , and have to say its a well kept area and facilities. there are plenty of pitches grass and hard standing, and the park is enough for the kids . We were pitched near the stream in one of the bays, quiet for us and close to the toilets and showers, which are always kept tidy. there is a dog walking area at the outer field and plenty of walking paths. The views are fantastic, and we are always taking pics . The near by shops are well priced the co-op is open from 7am until 11pm on a Sunday which we thought was great for extras, one thing I will say that is the site would benefit from a on site shop, only for the odd bits milk bread etc maybe a morning paper. We have had good weather and bad here but there is still stuff to do , the owners are very helpful and will certainly be returning.
