Hi, I'm looking to book for October half term, but ideally would like somewhere that has use of an indoor pool. Something to keep the kids amused for an hour or two if the weather is not to kind!

We live West Midlands and ideally don't want to travel for more than a couple of hours. I have looked at Plassey and also Thorton Holt, but am undecided?! Plassey seems a bit on the expensive side.

Any suggestions/recommendations would be very grateful!

Vauxhall Holiday Park in Great Yarmouth is great at October half term. They have a nice big warm indoor pool.

We visited 4 times last year inc October half term. They put on a great Halloween show!

The Plassey is lovely if a little pricey. Smallish indoor pool which is really nice. Loads going on for kids at half term usually with Halloween etc. Showers and toilets are immaculate.

We went to throntons Holt last year. Nice site, nothing bad to say.

Others you could consider and come close to a 2hr drive are www.staudriesbay.co.uk/
And http://www.millfarm.biz
Both have indoor pools, and being near the sea have options if the weather is good (never say never)
