Hi, I looking at going away this New Year's Eve with the family in the caravan as bored of staying at home. Something like fireworks/ buffet would be great. Any recommendations would be appreciated. ( yes I know it's early but the early worm catches the worm, i think !!! ) many thanks in advance Jason

If you are a camping or caravan club member, why don't you look at what your local centres are doing for New Year, you might not get fireworks but you will certainly get a party to suit all the family.
It may be a bit far but Camping Caradon Touring Park Cornwall we went the year before last and had a fabulous time Quiz night, Bingo N/E party and buffet fireworks at midnight.
If your in the caravan club or caravan and camping club it could be worth looking at some of the rallies looks like they have some good fun at new year.
You will need to put a move on though because most places get booked up early, like lyn we book year on year.
Hi, please can you tell me what is the best way to search for sites with entertainment for NYE as we would like to go somewhere in our motorhome, we have 2 dogs and live in the north west. Any help would be really appreciated x
Welcome to the forum Sess. The easiest way to look is to use the Campsite Search function at the top of the page which you can filter according to your wants/needs. Here's a link to sites in Cumbria with motorhome pitches which are open all year, welcome dogs and have a pub on site.

Sue.
Yes, nice site, we went there a few years ago but that was in early July. I don't think I would want to go there from here for New Year though as you never know what the roads are going to be like.
Good luck sess. Get cracking on your search because any half decent site will have been booked by the regulars as they left last year. There are so many more MHs out & about this year too - popular sites are fully booked at the end of October, which used to be unheard of.
Let us know how you get on.
