Travelling to Rowntree Park from the Isle of Man in the next week, can anyone tell us if we need to bring our satelite dish and stand or is freeview available there with decent reception?
Thanks Swoop

Not sure if it's true for all pitches but certainly when we stayed there in July there was an arial point on the pitch electric point. Plus mobile reception was great.

Thanks guys for all your help, to make things a little complicated we will probably be pitched in the Riverside overflow pitch due to arriving a bit later than normal (boat timetable) and that does not have booster hook ups!
Therefore is there anyone with first hand experience of using freeview at Rowntree Park and if so is it ok, if not I will bring the satellite setup :-)
I stayed there before and got good freeview reception without having to connect to a booster. The site is bang in the centre of York so the signal is always going to be good there.
You won`t need a tele anyhow. The location is fantastic with so much to see and do on your doorstep.
When are the new booking dates released from the CC club? I must make a point of booking well in advance this year.
