HI,

We are looking to site our touring Van next year in Borth or Aberystwyth. We are possibly looking at the above sites and wondered if anyone had any reviews on these or any recommendations??

Depends on what you are looking for. Both have advantages/disadvantages. Borth has a much better beach but Clarach Bay has lots to do for children - not all on the site but there is a little funfair and amusement arcade on the adjacent site (Clarach Bay Holiday Village).

I would suggest maybe a day trip and have a look at both sites. I stayed on Glan y mor last year but it has been many years since I stayed at Sun y mor and didn't stay on the touring site but in a static then.

Yes, we stayed on the touring field in a trailer tent. It was the lower field and I think that is where the seasonal pitches are. Toilets and showers were clean when we were there (only for a long weekend). I can't tell you too much about the entertainment as we were actually in the area to visit relatives.
