The Green at Wentnor near Bishops Castle, Shropshire is a lovely site. Its about 30 minutes from Shrewsbury.
We went there for our very first camping trip in June this year and have been back a further 3 times already!

2 great pubs nearby if you fancy a night off cooking, The Green and The Crown but you do need to book. There's a shower block, toilets and wash up area all in a converted barn, together with small shop on site selling essentials and a good local shop nearby. There is a C0-OP supermarket in Bishops Castle.
We have always found the site friendly and had great times there, even in the rain!!!
