im planning a 2 night break in my tent with my wife and dog in mablethorpe next sunday.
can anyone reccomend a campsite with electric hook ups, dog friendly and espeacially one that has a bar or pub with a tap room/veranda where dogs are allowed so i can bring the dog with us to have a beer (us not the dog!)
wi fi, toilets and showers would be good too :)
Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
We have stopped at Kirkstead Holiday Park a few times, it is within walking distance to the beach, has showers, ehu and a small on site club. I'm honestly not sure whether dogs are allowed in the club but may be worth a phone call?
I am planning on golden sands if I can't find anywhere else, but dogs aren't allowed in the entertained complex, so no beer :-(. Looks like I may be taking my own booze :-( weather seems to be turning for next week as well :'(
We have been to Grange Leisure Park this summer. It is a large site, but I found it lovely and quiet. My review is on here. We haven't got one but plenty of other campers had dogs. There is a club house with outside seating, toilets, showers and I'm sure the club had wifi. It was very reasonably priced too.
You may find that most sites around Mablethorpe/Skegness don't accept tents - mainly its due to the weather they have. There is/was a C&CC site accepts tents and dogs but there is a wind farm in the adjacent field!
We haven't been for a couple of years but the Mablethorpe CCC site would suit your requirements. If you walk towards town straight out of the site within half a mile there is a static caravan site with a bar that allows dogs in. It is more of a clubhouse but they are happy for anyone to use. Kill 2 birds - evening dog walk and a beer!!
The wind farm certainly didn't bother me.
Thanks for all the replies just went to book ccc and it's over £50 for non members, seems like I'm flogging a dead horse I'm going to book golden sands for £19 and walk into town for a pub ;-)
Try ringing grange farm leisure first very helpful. were on a super pitch from sunday next week 16 pounds a night.tent area looks great plenty of room for walking our four legged friends, and a nice area to sit out side and enjoy a beer.
