Please could someone recommend a campsite within walking distance to Padstow harbour. We need a campsite that allows dogs and has electric pitches. Thanks.

I believe padstow touring park is 20-30 mind walk from padstow-is dog friendly and has electric pitches. I haven't stayed there myself but we are looking at staying next year for our summer holiday-has good reviews and good facilities.

I have not stayed there but Dennis Cove is a 10 minute walk to the harbour.

we stayed there last year its a lovely site we did not use the footpath to padstow because we are disabled and it would have been too far but please note that there are stiles to cross in the first part of the path,there is a field next to the site so I assume that would be where you take the dog. There is a chip van calls on a Monday night and its excellent.

Dennis cove is an easy 10 min walk along the flat Camel Trail. Lovely quiet, basic site and nearest one to Padstow. We've been going for 10 years, love it.

We stayed at Padstow Touring Park in March and loved it, so much so we've booked to stay over New Year! 

Nice clean, tidy, friendly site.  Nice facilities, especially the individual shower rooms near reception/coffee shop.  Nice site hardstanding pitches and doggie friendly. 20 - 30 minutes slow walk into town.  £5 for a taxi back!!!
