Hi everyone,

We have enjoyed our first year back after having a static for 6 years.

 I know it would be others idea of hell but we have really loved the noisy atmosphere. The kids on their bikes and scooters, grandads and grandma  with grandchildren, dog owners and their dogs, of which we are one !. Loved people watching, the inevitable " awning arguments " and all the caravan comings and goings. Even liked the recent film and music festivals .

So if you know a site  that is , to use my grandaughters word " Buzzing "( idealy 2 hours from Sheffield in any direction ) I would love to hear your recomendations

 Thanks for your reply, it certainly is the joy lol

I think its the friendliness off the campers we missed, especially as I am there on my own at times.. At our static caravan site we sometimes saw nobody all day, or they passed you by without  even a smile. Thanks again will check it out now
