anyone know a campsite within cycling distance of silverstone, (hey not to far) and thanks for the help last time i asked this question about Donington park, yep the hill out of Castle Donington was a drag, but i made 90% of it (with a dodgy knee) it was 4 miles and about 30 mins, taking it easy.on the sunday we rode back, the caravan was hooked up ready, bikes on board, one set of lights and we were on our way home, and beat all that traffic stuck in the circuit, magic, thanks. hope to do the same at the British Super Bikes ( oh and we got a 2 and 3 in 1000 superstocks) could have been a 1 and 3, still never mind.

dadford road is quite rough and ready and can get very boggy I wouldn't say it was very caravan friendly, same with woodlands , not even sure they allow caravans.Wittlebury park is better.  There are loads more for the GP but not sure about the superbikes.

Do asearch for british grandprix camping and that should bring them all up then go through and see which ones will be open for the SB

To be honest I think you would be better off with one of the year round sites as they will have better pitches for caravans New Rookery springs to mind easily withing cycling distance, well worth cycling it's the best way to get around the circuit. is 5 miles too far because there are a few around Towcester. Hamilton Fields is fairly flat

NEW ROOKERY, well i had a look "well what can i say"i know it is for up to 4 persons, but think i will defo give this one a miss, £140 for no leccy and a whopping £260 with e.h.u. so that is a difference of £120 extra, just for using 4 days of electric, someone posted on one of the forums about ehu charges, well this one has just got to be the worst one yet.

We have stayed at Dadford Road for Blancpain and posted a review on here. We wouldn't go back.

Also stayed at Litchlake Farm for WSR and posted a review. We wouldn't go back.

Our favourite site is Woodlands. For some reason I haven't posted a review and we've stayed three times for F1 Grand Prix!

In a nutshell, it is well organised, proper electric showers and plumbed in toilets. Good security (this year there were thieves bolt cropping into the site but security caught them). Close to the track and for SB may be the same as F1 - shop, pub and entertainment!
