My partner is hitting 30 next August and I would like to do something special for her. As such I am trying to organise a private micro festival. It will be 30-50 people with some live music and DJs.
We would like to hire the location to ourselves so as not to bother anyone else. We would also need a location with a decent communal area than has power for the music and potentially cooking facilities.
If that is not enough to ask, I would also ideally want it within a couple of hours of the Wirral, the likes of Lakes, North Wales, Cheshire, Shropshire would be ideal. If you know somewhere suitable but a bit further away it may still be of interest as I imagine our options are fairly limited.
Any help is much appreciated.

A bit further than you wanted to travel but I do believe brick Kiln Farm, Woodbridge, Suffolk does what you require! I know when I rang to book a weekends camping a year ago they were unable to accommodate as the whole site was booked for a 40th birthday party.
Might be worth a try

Alternatively, if you can find someone with an empty field you could hire porta loos and a marquee etc.
There's a car club near me that does that each August for its gathering.
I have no idea if they would do this but have a word with white lodge in Anglesey, when we were there they were spit roasting an entire pig for a private party on the Saturday night so I guess if you booked out all their pitches and had a word with the lads in the restaurant (outstanding food) they may be able help. Quite a small site rural location so no neighbours to upset
Yep a great little site only about 20 odd pitches so should be doable, maybe hire a small marquee and as suggested the lads in the cafe could sort you food for a birthday celebration.
The only thing I would say is that they have some seasonals there so not sure exactly how noisy you could be, but very near to fantastic beaches too.
Brings back great memories of when we walked the coast path, loved it there so much we stayed an extra night on the spur of the moment, the boys delivered, fantastic fish and chips together with cold beers, right to our tent.
Pobs place is great ,a bit rough and ready but you could use the Beudy as your indoor party venue and all camp out with a fire. We love it there and he is so friendly. Two pubs within walking distance too.
You could try The Hideaway in North Yorkshire. I know they do exclusive hire of the campsite for weddings, so might be worth contacting. It should be about 2 hours from The Wirral.
May make a trip to the White Lodge regardless as it looks my type of site. Its got spectacular views, a great cafe, the owners are really friendly and it's close to some great beaches.
The site itself though isn't very inspiring its a small square field with pitches around the edge.
6 months later and still looking with little joy. Thought I would give the thread a little bump to see if anyone else had any ideas. Numbers are now pretty set at 30 people and I think the live music is canned, but a disco is always good :-)
