Hillhead Caravan Club site at Brixham is open until 2nd January and are open to non members. Ten minutes from Dartmouth via ferry, five minutes from Brixham and ten from Paignton. They have a restaurant on site got a feeling they do a Christmas Dinner. One of the CC's top sites.Link here

Just checked looks as though Hillhead has no vacancies for 10 days over Xmas. If you are interested though might be worth a direct phone call in case of cancellations.

Kernow camper, I bet Ayr is amazing at Christmas - we got to St Ives between Christmas and New Year and its just so lovely . New Year is brilliant fun too with everyone doing fancy dress!

It certainly is jenh, that's why we keep going back.  The site tends to be a lot quieter over Christmas than New Year and that's what we like about it.  All the pubs, bars, restaurants, etc are open over Christmas and very friendly and festive!  Never stayed over New Year because they are always fully booked from year to year.  Doing Padstow for New Year this year for the first time!
