Just wondering how many nights you actually use a seasonal pitch for? Is it just the odd weekend or are you spending weeks at a time?

Since retiring last year we spend as much time as possible in our van. Normally Monday - Wednesday or Tuesday - Thursday depending on appointments at hospital/doctors for my 90 year old mum and then the occasional full week when I can get my brother to take his turn in looking after mum. Although he is also retired he still spends time coaching cricket in schools so doesn't get much free time.
A few of folk on our site are here for almost the entire season.
I have heard of a site near here that uses a 'soak away' for waste water and they only allow 5 days maximum to allow the soak away to work.

Due to being babysitters, we can't get away during the week. We usually go on a Friday to Sunday, but not every weekend as we have other things to do. We also took it off for a month in July to go to Germany. We will be pulling it off towards the end of the month as the season finishes end of Oct. We definitely haven't "had our monies worth" and have decided not to site it again. That has nothing to do with the site, which we really enjoyed when there.
